Car rental safety when traveling

What do I need to do before I leave the rental space?

You are now in a hurry when you get the car, but it takes a few minutes to get to know this new car.

Check the car for damage inside or out.

Before leaving the site, locate the lights, radio, wipers, turn signals, cruise control and side mirror switches.

Place the seat and mirrors on a comfortable level.

It's also a good idea to look at the map and find a route to your destination before you start driving.

Insurance is already a good thing

Taking a risk can be good with both poker and stock, but do you want to eliminate insurance when renting a car? Secure car rental insurance is difficult (even if counterparts don't know everything), but driving without a safety net is wise. If you want to buy car rental agency insurance, your cheap car rental may not be as cheap as you think.

The best way to answer your car rental questions is to contact your credit card company, personal and car insurance provider, and rental car company. Note that you should not feel pressured to buy rental company insurance. Why pay for something you may already have? First, check your existing policies. Note that your own policy may have some limitations and may not be covered by certain rental vehicles. When thinking about renting this Jaguar, you might want to consider whether your own policy does not cover such an expensive vehicle.

It is unfortunate that rental cars are moving targets for theft. However, most rental companies have recently stopped labeling rental vehicles with their company logos. It's a good idea to make sure that your particular rental car has no logos or stickers. If so, you can ask them to remove them immediately.

Here are some safety tips:

  • You should always overdo it, especially if it's dark or unfamiliar with the territory.
  • Never leave the car until you are sure that the situation is safe.
  • Keep all your luggage in the trunk. Do not point out that you are a visitor.
  • Stay on the main roads and follow the planned route.
